Our communities have endured unimaginable losses caused by the burning of coal, oil and gas. Homes have been submerged in flood waters and reduced to ashes in bushfires, while our communities and environments have been changed forever.
We now face a new reality. The impacts of climate pollution are with us today and every day, and so, just as we need to slash climate pollution, we must turn our attention to better protecting our people and our way of life.To survive the worst impacts of climate-fuelled unnatural disasters, we need to be better prepared.
