Dr Wayne Gregson APM, OAM

Dr Wayne Gregson was Western Australia’s first Commissioner of Fire and Emergency Services when the Department of Fire and Emergency Services was originally formed in 2012. Within this role, he led a major reform program, based on supporting frontline services and increasing transparency. Prior to his role in the DFES, he was the Assistant Commissioner at WA Police for seven years.
